Lee, Frank (Canada) vs. Urquidez, Benny (USA)
Though an exhibition, Urquidez cranks the older Kung fu instructor. Lee has the guts to stand in there and take it! I always respected Frank Lee. (1978)

Lilley, Roy (Canada) vs. Pao Paouin, Cheungnoi (Thailand)

LeBanner, Jerome (France) vs. Davy, Nokweed (France)
Part of the foruth round between the grossly outweighed Thai Davy (by almost 90 lbs.) against French heavyweight LeBanner in the K-1. At the beginning of the bout, LeBanner has a smile on his face figuring this bout will be a cakewalk. Does not turn out this way as Davy, though not really busy, lands some great shots and bloodies LeBanner's nose. (Copyright K-1)

After losing a controversial bout with Somplad in Thailand the year earlier, Linley snatches the WMC World Title with this bout.

Though the decision was close, Linley should have won this bout. Touktaulova poses and boxes sporadically while Linley controls the exchanges and kicks far more effectively.

Loder hits the tough Neil with everything except the kitchen sink. Neil keeps coming. Lesser athletes would have gone down from some of the bombs he absorbed. Loder wins the bout.

Longinidis, Stan (Australia) vs. Alexio, Dennis (USA)
Alexio lost this bout but claimed it was due to a hole in the ring floor. He stepped down wrong after taking a leg kick from Stan. Later the decision is changed to a no-contest. Watch and judge yourself.

Longinidis, Stan (Australia) vs. Roufus, Rick (USA)
A low kick fight that everybody expected Stan to win handily. Unfortunately, Stan seems to lose steam as the bout progresses while Roufus picks up the pace while gaining confidence. Roufus wins.

Lookchaomaesithong, Coban (Thailand) vs. Bille, Danny (Cameroon)
Coban defeats the athlete generally felt as the greatest foreign (non-Thai) athlete of all time. Coban had a tough time with the Cameroon athlete. Exciting bout.

Lookchaomaesithong, Coban (Thailand) vs. Dekkers, Ramon (Holland) 1
Ramon Dekkers, one of the toughest non-Thai fighters of all time, gets knocked out by Thailand's Coban. This was the start to a classic series of match ups between the two Muay Thai greats!

Dekker gets his revenge. This time, Coban hits the canvas.
