Ramnarine, Ria (Trinidad) vs. Bellegarde, Vanessa (Canada)
Ramnarine tries to force the fight using her hands. Bellgarde's kicking skills prove to be too much for the experienced Ramnarine. Bellegarde wins the bout. (Copyright MIKE MILES PRODUCTIONS)

Ramsey, 'Kiwi' (New Zealand) vs. Lookchaomaesithong, Coban (Thailand)
Coban is just too strong and experienced.

Reed, Marcus (USA) vs. Theriault, Jean Yves (Canada)
The Champions' final fight. The problem here is that they fed the Champ Reed who had considerably less experience. No slight at Theriault, but even magazines considered this fight to be a gift. Under Full Contact rules, Theriault was great!!!

Reed, Tony (USA) vs. Lookchaomaesithong, Coban (Thailand)
Coban is just too strong for the American.

Reyes, Miguel (Mexico) vs. Fenton, Jason (Canada)
A big step up in opposition for Fenton who rises to the occasion and wins. (Copyright MIKE MILES PRODUCTIONS)

Ricketts, Jaimie (UK) vs. Linley, Erin (Canada)
Linley has problems finding opponents for a bout in the UK. Ricketts signs on under short notice and makes a good fight of this.

Rijker, Lucia (Holland) vs. Jaidee, Somchai (New Zealand)
Woman vs. man. She is too good for the women but not ready to tangle with men her own size, let alone littler ones like Jaidee.

Rijker, Lucia (Holland) vs. Rodriquez, Lilly (USA)
The beginning of things to come.

Rojas (Canada) vs. Horvath, Dave (Canada)
Horvath wins this match.

Rondinelli, Nick (Canada) vs. Olsen, Junior (Canada)
A big upset. Olsen is the favorite but Rondinelli proves he has the skills and desire to win this very close decision.

Robinson, Lavelle (USA) vs. Roufus, Rick (USA)
Robinson just looks too weak to deal with Roufus who is at the peak of his skills including his power. Roufus wins.

Robson, Darren (Canada) vs. Ahmed, Omar (USA)
Ahmed is too fast and skilled and just plays with Canadian Robson. (Copyright MIKE MILES PRODUCTIONS)

Robson, Darren (Canada) vs. Coquete, Robert (Canada)
Coquete takes this, his first Muay Thai bout (even wearing full contact rules pants) and uses his long sidekick to keep knocking the wind out of Robson and to earn a win in this bout. Coquete later becomes a professional Muay Thai Champion. (Copyright MIKE MILES PRODUCTIONS)

Robson, Darren (Canada) vs. Contreras, Oscar (Mexico))
Contreras exposes Robson's chin. Big knock out! (Copyright MIKE MILES PRODUCTIONS)

Robson, Darren (Canada) vs. Kroonen, Gary (Canada)
Robson takes a right to the chin. The rest is history. (Copyright MIKE MILES PRODUCTIONS)

Robson, Darren (Canada) vs. Odd, Dave 1 (Canada)
First encounter featuring highly underated but hard hitting Dave Odd. Odd connects several times on Robson's chin wobbling him and almost puts him away at the end of the round with a solid left hook. Robson almost goes down but catches the ropes and is luckily saved by the bell. Odd wins the decision handily. (Copyright MIKE MILES PRODUCTIONS)

Robson, Darren (Canada) vs. Odd, Dave 2 (Canada)
Second encounter with hard hitting Dave Odd chasing Robson into a corner. A huge shot to the chin stops Robson with Odd winning by KO. (Copyright MIKE MILES PRODUCTIONS)

Robson, Darren (Canada) vs. Tavernini, Justin 2 (Canada)
Second encounter has Tavernini looking strong while Robson appears to fade in the endurance department. Tavernini goes on to win the decision handily. (Copyright CMAC PRODUCTIONS)

Robson, Darren (Canada) vs. Thomas, Duduy (France)
Thomas (in red) outclasses and outguns Robson (in blue) who seems to just stand there and does not fight back. Robson does not even look shook from the blows but just seems to give up. (Copyright MIKE MILES PRODUCTIONS)

Rochester, Ovel (Canada) vs. Doran, Justin (Canada)
Rochester goes over the ropes on this one but comes back to win by TKO. (Copyright MIKE MILES PRODUCTIONS)

Rodrigues, Blinky (USA) vs. Theriault, Jean Yves (Canada)
This bout shows the reason why Theriault would never fight with leg kicks again in his career.

Rodriquez, Lilly (USA) vs. Rijker, Lucia (Holland)
The beginning of things to come for Rijker.

Rodriguez, Marcos (Mexico) vs. Lilley, Roy (Canada)
Lilley in his typical workmanlike fashion, wears down his opponent for the win. (Copyright MIKE MILES PRODUCTIONS)

Roufus, Rick (USA) vs. Hoost, Ernesto (Holland) 2
Hoost lost their first encounter when he was younger and a lot more inexperienced under Full Contact rules. Hoost turns things around in this rematch. Hoost wins by KO.

Roufus, Rick (USA) vs. Kaman, Rob (Holland)
The first encounter between these two. Kaman thought he was fighting another quote/unquote “wimpy American full contact fighter” so he takes the bout on short notice. Kaman loses the decision.

Roufus, Rick (USA) vs. Rob Kaman (Holland) 2
The rematch ends in a very surprising outcome.

Roufus, Rick (USA) vs. Kiatsongrit, Cheungpuek (Thailand)
After this fight Duke Roufus stated that "It does not take much talent to throw a leg kick." Watching the fight, one will see that Roufus threw the first low kick! To his credit, Roufus has come a long way in his evolution as a fighter in recent years and has gained a lot of respect (he made a fan out of me). Kiatsongrit wins the bout but later the bout is turned into a no-contest decision.

Roufus, Rick (USA) vs. Longinidis, Stan (Australia)
A low kick fight that everybody expected Stan to win handily. Unfortunately, Stan seems to lose steam as the bout progresses while Roufus picks up the pace while gaining confidence. Roufus wins.

Roufus, Rick (USA) vs. McDonald, Mike (Canada)
Mike McDonald, who has been a low kick athlete during his career steps into the ring under Full Contact Rules (out of his element). Roufus makes quick work of the Canadian during this, their first encounter.

Roufus, Rick (USA) vs. Robinson, Lavelle (USA)
Robinson just looks too weak to deal with Roufus who is at the peak of his skills, including his power. Roufus wins handily.

Roufus, Rick (USA) vs. Theriault, Jean Yves (Canada)
A very close fight that teeters back and forth. Roufus wins the decision and the torch is passed to the new champion. Unfortunately, Full Contact Rules takes a dive in popularity after this fight and support for the sport disappears off the airwaves. Why?

Roufus, Rick (USA) vs. Warhol (USA)
Roufus learning his skills and developing into the champion he would become known for.

Roufus, Rick (USA) vs. Whaley (USA)
A close fight which does not end by a KO in favor of Roufus. Whaley is devastated by the decision and wants a rematch. It never happens.

Russell, Mark (England) vs. Alexio, Dennis (USA)
Poor Mark. As is the case with most of his high profile fights he was overmatched by either size or experience. In this case he was way under Alexio's weight and he does not have the skills of Alexio under Full Contact rules.

Russell, Mark (UK) vs. Hoost, Ernesto (Holland)
Holland's 'Mr. Perfect' goes to work and schools Russell.

Russell, Shawn (Canada) vs. Trebunia, Mike (Canada)
A great fight between these two very tough athletes. (Copyright MIKE MILES PRODUCTIONS)
