Again a Thai athlete who uses smart movement and unpredictability to frustrate and nullify everything Dida has to offer. Saimai wins the bout.

At the end of the third round Seiler leaves the ring in disgust. Egged back on by the audience, Seiler returns and Noknoi proceeds to pound his way to a win by KO as well as winning a World Muay Thai Council World Title.

Sharpe, Larry (Canada) vs. Lozano, Adolfo (Mexico)

The Canadian provides very stiff competition to the Japanese athlete. A very tough and demanding bout for both athletes.

Fresh off a busy schedule of fighting Japan’s best, Urquidez has no problem with Simerly.

Sit Chuchok, Sakmongkol (Thailand) vs. Fairtex, Jongsanan (Thailand)
Fairtex takes a licking but boy he proves his grit to come back from this bout in Thailand. Impressive.

Sittiboonlert, Prayoud (Thailand) vs. Urquidez, Benny (USA)
Controversial bout. Qualification match to see who would meet Japan's Legendary Fujiwara. No weigh in and larger gloves than usual were used. Urquidez has an extremely difficult time dealing with the heavier Thai's knee attacks. Japanese and Thai officials state this was a bout and a loss for Urquidez, whereas Urquidez and the WKA state it was a no-contest.

Browotski is just not at the skill level of Smith. Loses due to a cut.

Poor refereeing (pulling Smit's head up into Maurice's face while on the ground) turns this bout into a controversial debacle. Maurice gets disqualified, but through the audience's jeers, gets to fight again and wins the match. Hollywood would love this stuff in a movie.

Chandet's knees prove to be too strong for the French athlete.

Tong provides a lot of movement to frustrate Dida. The Frenchman tries to catch up with his foe but he can not seem to corner him. A win for the Thai after his team-mate Chandet, who has already done the same.

Philidor takes on the brother of the famous Thai (international) boxer Sot Chilada. Things started out pretty evenly but Philidor turned the juice on in each round to eventually stop the Thai athlete.

Good fight from California.

Very competitive bout in the beginning but Eriksson loses steam towards the end of this Kickboxing rules bout.

Very good fight! Classic match up of two different styles.

This has got to be one of my favorite Kickboxing bouts. Farina's style literally puzzles Steele who gets so frustrated that he throws some big desperate shots (that miss) at the French athlete.

Humby hangs but Steele is unrelenting.

A big fight between these two for a title. George grabs the win much to Danny's chagrin.

Stevens, Jim (USA) vs. Postel, Sylvain (France)
I love this fight! Though Stevens is tough and the Frenchman has suspect punching skills, he uses his legs to cut the American to pieces. Under Boxe Francaise-Savate rules.

Sukenobu, Ryoichi (Japan) vs. Hubbert, Tracey (Canada)
A huge upset. The very experienced Hubbert loses a decision to a newcomer under modified Muay Thai rules. Sukenobu looks great while doing his work. This athlete who appears to be going places.

Suzuki (Japan) vs. Urquidez, Benny (USA)
Grudge match.

Sylla, Richard (France) vs. Cunningham, Peter (Canada)
A very close fight that Cunningham loses but the decision is later overturned.

Sylla, Richard (France) vs. Ortiz, David (Mexico)
Sylla destroys Mexican Ortiz under Boxe Francaise-Savate rules. Wow!
