Urquidez, Benny (USA) vs. Holloway, Anthony (USA) 2
Second meeting in Vancouver. Urquidez is just too experienced and wins.

Urquidez, Benny (USA) vs. Jackson, Billy (USA)
Controversial fight/exhibition bout. Reported as a loss to Urquidez in major Martial Arts publications, the bout was eventually dropped from his record. Jackson says it was a fight, Urquidez says it was an exhibition. A quick clip of the bout.

Urquidez, Benny (USA) vs. Kiatbandit, Narongnoi (Thailand)
The most controversial fight between Muay Thai and Full Contact Karate in history. The USA against Thailand. Stories have been manufactured about this bout and most of them are false, misleading and made to compliment which ever side of the bout one supports. Under the rules used in this bout, Urquidez should have won. In all fairness to Narongnoi, he was thrown into a bout using rules which severely handicapped his skills. The bout was called a no-contest and has been controversial ever since.

Urquidez, Benny (USA) vs. Koshikawa, Yutaka (Japan)
Urquidez shines in this match as he easily out classes his Japanese foe. Urquidez gets to use his legendary jumping back kick effectively in this match.

Urquidez, Benny (USA) vs. Laroche, Tom (Canada)
Laroche hangs in there but Urquidez battles on, even with a broken fist and pulls off the win.

Urquidez, Benny (USA) vs. Lee, Frank (Canada)
Though an exhibition, Urquidez cranks the older Kung fu instructor. Lee has the guts to stand in there and take it! I always respected Frank Lee. (1978)

Urquidez, Benny (USA) vs. Okao (Japan)
Urquidez opens up and this is stuff of his legend.

Urquidez, Benny (USA) vs. Onuki (Japan)
Urquidez is very strong in this fight.

Urquidez, Benny (USA) vs. Onuki (Japan) 2
Two highly competitive athletes.

Urquidez, Benny (USA) vs. Simerly, Rick (USA)
Fresh off a busy schedule of fighting Japan’s best, Urquidez has no problem with Simerly.

Urquidez, Benny (USA) vs. Sittiboonlert, Prayoud (Thailand)
Controversial bout. Qualification match to see who would meet Japan's Legendary Fujiwara. No weigh in and larger gloves than usual were used. Urquidez has an extremely difficult time dealing with the heavier Thai's knee attacks. Japanese and Thai officials state this was a bout and a loss for Urquidez, whereas Urquidez and the WKA state it was a no-contest.

Urquidez, Benny (USA) vs. Sprang, Ivan (Holland)
The Dutch athlete offers very stiff resistance.

Urquidez, Benny (USA) vs. Suzuki (Japan)
Grudge match.

Urquidez, Benny (USA) vs. Tagami, Yoshitaka (Japan)
Urquidez's retirement fight.

Urquidez, Benny (USA) vs. Tamashiro (Japan)
Urquidez's toughest opponent. No love lost between these two.
